CSM Refund Policy
Entry Fees are NON-Refundable and NON-Transferable.
Registration fees are not transferable due to safety and liability insurance requirements. In the case of Medical emergencies, it’s possible to defer a registration to the following year. A doctor’s letter, dated before the event, will be required.
Full refunds for accommodation and transportation will be provided if notice is received in writing at the CSM office before December 1st. After this date there will be no refunds for accommodation or transportation. Changing a CSM registration to a lower category that necessitates a bib change will be subject to a $25.00 administration fee.
It is recommended that skiers entered in the Coureur des Bois category have a medical examination prior to the event.
In addition, the CSM advises parents/guardians that there may be risks to junior skiers, particularly around puberty, associated with attempting the Coureur des Bois and that they should ensure that the medical examination prior to the event takes this into account.
Event Cancellation Policy
Entry fees are non-refundable. The Canadian Ski Marathon, in accordance with management executives, city officials and local law enforcement has the authority to cancel any of the events for emergency purposes such as, but not limited to, inclement weather. If such emergency conditions force cancellation, refunds cannot be provided since funds will have been spent in preparation for for the marathon weekend.
